Welcome to She-Parent

I'm really not this evil she-parent I may appear to be, but it sure does feel like it sometimes.
If it's ever time to stop doing something fun, I'm the one calling it.
If teeth still have gunk between them, I'm the one making them get brushed again.
If homework has been done sloppily, I'm the one making it get redone.

The other day she-child asked me who my favorite parent was when I was growing up and I answered,"My Dad".
"Yeah", she giggled. "Me too."

Haha! Score one for she-child!

This is so funny and cute. I like it already. Sometimes I feel like "the mean mom" because I'm the one always saying don't do this or that, clean this, wash that. Pretty crazy. I think I'll enjoy this blog.

Your title and tag line are priceless. I just love "she'll give you something to cry about" and your header is really cute too.

This post was succinct but you really captured the theme of where your blog is going. I'm anxious to watch your progress.

I'd still switch that "chortle" around a bit in your about me.

I think She-Parent has made an appearance at my house today. What Mom doesn't feel like the meanest person on the face of the Earth sometimes? I know I do! You're onto something that every Mom can relate to feeling.

One minor thing: watch your punctuation around quotation marks. You don't need that one inside the Dad. Nitpicky I know.

BBM, I can use all the nitpicking I can get about my punctuation. I do tend to be a little free with my commas. Sometimes I'll just randomly throw one in for no apparent, reason. See?! ;o)

I've adjusted my chortle and it seems to fit better now. Thanks for the feedback. Definitely appreciated.

I'm a little behind on the commenting, but had to add my two cents worth. I like how concise your first post is. If someone were to go back to your archives, this is a fast way to get them on board. It also shows the humor that you will write about in the coming posts. Looking forward to seeing more from you.
